I am looking forward to getting to like... organize crap. I mean, okay-- David's biggest problem in Camp was that he is used to Doing All the Things and Finding All the Information and Protecting All the People... and these are things that are either impossible or outright discouraged by Camp, because people don't tend to appreciate it. Whereas aather will give him a structure where he can find answers/organize info/protect people/generally patrol and that will be helpful/useful/probably not make people roll their eyes at him?

Also just in general I am excited to interact with the game from a Knight standpoint :B

Her impression of Emerald is that they were all too eager to welcome her into their arms. Which was dumb and shortsighted just on principle. She also gets kind of :\ when it feels like they are forcing values on her (Asuka is the main offender here). But most of the time she can tolerate them. She liked the idea behind telling the Jabberwock to fuck off, no, they weren't going to play his game... but then immediately became frustrated again when the walls started closing in and everyone else just sat there, waiting to die. SHE REALIZES SHE COULDN'T HAVE STOPPED IT but she still wanted to fight anyway. So right now she's in want-to-yell-and-pace-and-demand stage, though she also is trying to not be super invested in the team. Fine, whatever. Do what you want! But augh don't do it that way!!!!

She doesn't know much about the Personae besides the general overview-- but she got the overview from Lloyd, so she's actually more neutral on them than, say, Sakura (who got most of her Personae-opinions from Sasuke ;D) Depending on how her memories fall out, she could either become more tolerant or violently less tolerant of the idea of Personae-- it's fairly similar to the fal'cie concept, in some ways... which Lightning was super okay with for 21 years and then abruptly super smash-the-state not okay with.

How are Sasuke's deals-with-Personae-to-protect-Itachi going?

...well IN CONCEPT/APPEARANCE it's pretty cool! Sakura can appreciate cool things that do damage. On the other hand, she has already gotten back her Sasori memories-- so she has a complicated mental relationship to puppetry; their opponent was really fucking creepy and fought with alarmingly-human puppets (or...formerly-human, though Sakura hasn't remembered that bit yet), but on the other hand, she also volunteered to be used as a puppet for that battle, so it's not like she would view controling-others-via puppetry as base creepy or something. But! Obviously this wasn't voluntary, which makes it bad no doubt, and it's Zwei and Sakura just does not like Zwei at all and pretty much assumes the worst of all her actions 8'D

so mostly she'd just be like ...fucking zwei!

Has Echo done any drawings lately?

Like I mentioned to Itachi, Lightning currently has a bias against Emerald just based on her being fussy about their welcome. That aside though... she doesn't...dislike him, terribly. He's been informative and helpful. Sometimes his snarky makes her fussed, but other times she can gloss over it because it at least makes him reasonably interesting. She is a fussbudget, essentially, but does not always mind being in his company '-'

It actually took her a while to be on board with "Sakura"; she only kind of recently started telling people they could call her that (though most of the time she still introduces herself as Tsunami... it's mostly cast-mates that call her Sakura). She wasn't sure she really understood any of Sakura's motivations or anything. Slowly though she started to get back memories that... well, they didn't necessarily change much about her perception of herself, but she could see Sakura making decisions that...validated decisions that Tsunami was making in aather. It seemed, from these memories, that Sakura and Tsunami at least had a pretty similar set of values. So by now, she's pretty okay with thinking of herself as Sakura-- especially the more she gets to know her castmates. Sakura knows things about these people, has a connection to them that Tsunami doesn't-- she'd like to know what that is.

Was Spitfire always Spitfire, or did he have an Aather name?

Spitfire has always been Spitfire though he's not always felt like he knew who Spitfire was. The memory that I gave him first is pretty poignant for a friend of his insisting that he was still Spitfire despite being injured and weak and that he could and should rely on the rest of his teammates to train with him. That Spitfire was someone he could almost relate to, and because of how the name was presented in the memory, he needed to keep it because he wasn't allowed to give it up in the memory.

Conversely, he didn't connect at all with the memory Kazu shared with him shortly after his arrival. His own memory was of him being incredibly weak and unable to do even the smallest tricks, and Kazu's memory was of being super impressed by Spitfire's skill.

So there was a bit of a cognizant dissonance for a while, which he's still trying to work through, but... he still feels more like the person he first remembered rather than someone a person should be awed by. In a way, it probably would have been easier if he had gotten an Aather name. As it is, he basically has to swallow everything whole when it comes to who Spitfire is.

If Sakura got placed on a different team, how do you think her development in Aather would have been different?

Hm, well, like I said to Ling I think she could have done interestingly on Ruby -- like Turq, they would have encouraged her protective, teamy nature... though likely on a team with Acedia and Wrath she would have ended up more fierce and less derpy...not that she isn't fierce now, but with Turq's influence she's a lot more willing to do dorky, goofy things. Given the right motivation, Sakura can be pretty ferocious and unforgiving, and I think Ruby would have encouraged that moreso than Turq. Also, Ruby wins waaaaay way more often than Turq; which would have been nice for Sakura because she loathes losing. She describes it as contempt, in canon, so. She fights a lot with that feeling in Aather and at least she wouldn't have to as much, on Ruby ;D

What team do you think would have been hilariously terrible for Spitfire? |D

Hm... I don't think any of them would have been terrible really. They would definitely encourage different aspects of his personality though. A team like Citrine or Turq or Emerald probably would have developed more of his shonen stupidity and make him feel less like he needs to be on guard constantly with how he reacts to things. Teams like Coral or Kunzite or Tiger's Eye probably would have pushed his team-dere much further to the front again instead of having it guarded the way he does on Iolite.

Though I guess if you're looking for normal versus wow how did that happen, Iolite has managed to produce a partially sociopathic version of Spitfire which is kind of interesting. \o/;;;;;;;;;;; I don't know if I'd say that was terribad, but it's definitely different.

I think... in a practical sense... she would choose fucking Neji, marrying Breeze and cliffing Sasuke. Not...out of any particular FEELS but like.
Okay well she has to cliff either Sasuke or Neji-- both of them are Ninja and are probably capable of dealing with that. Sasuke for sure she knows has the chakra control back to just run back up the cliff if he needs it, so that's safe. Also he's angry at himself and would probably encourage her to do that anyway. Neji is her boyfriend and she likes him so sleeping with him is good ANYWAY and if she chooses someone else for that spot he'd probably be jealous and upset. Breeze is not a ninja and would not survive so she can't be cliffed, and she's not really attracted to Breeze so much as she is super dependent on her as leader, so clearly she's for marrying. '-'

If Spitfire were given the power to run a game, what kind of game would he run?

IT WOULD BE THE MOST ADORABLE GAME EVER YOU HAVE NO IDEA. ALL THE FLUFFY BABY ANIMALS ALL OF THEM!!!!! Yeah, Spitfire's most just over death games and secret games. GO PET YOUR KITTEN AND ZEN A LITTLE. MOST ZEN TEAM WINS. It would be an awesome game, but this is why no one lets Spitfire run them.

... He would somehow con the Cat into helping him run it and slip him catnip so they could use the Cat as an excuse to give away memories to everyone. :|b

What's Sakura's favorite kinds of games?

So far she has more or less enjoyed most of the roleplay games; sometimes it's really weird! But she likes those ones because she has a clear objective -- pretend to be X -- and once given an objective she will pursue it. Also those games don't largely involve difficult choices. Also a kunoichi needs to be good at things like that...

Does Spitfire have a favorite personae?

Not a favorite exactly, but he definitely favors Firebird and Automaton. He enjoys the Cat too for an entirely different reason, but that has its ups and downs.

What does Sakura think about the Personae and their roles in Aather?

She actually only kind of understands the concept of "roles", idk she didn't get a very thorough explanation on the Personae. I don't think she knew they had roles at all until very, very recently. Nobody really explained the whole... fairy-tale thing to her either. Basically Sakura has been entirely ignorant of the [ooc plot] of Aather for quiet a while.

Which means she's had a lot of time to build up Negative Feelings about the Personae, especially because the person she talks to most often about them is Sasuke. One on one, she likes some of them, but as a whole taken together she is pretty >8| at Personae.

If Spitfire were a Personae, what would Knights patroned to him get?

How's Ferron settling into things?

Haha, it's funny that Lightning thought Emerald came on too strong, because... in general Emerald has a reputation for not coming on strong enough to its new team members. OOPS WE OVERCORRECTED? But basically Viridian has been around since the first teams arrived, and Emerald has one of the best teammate retention ratios in Aather, so even though he doesn't necessarily feel like a team has to be a "family" or whatever, he has a very strong view of "teams are necessary for survival in Aather." He's seen other people's team conflict from the outside (Riku ragequitting his own team and coming back on another team later comes to mind), and experienced a lot of it from within Emerald as well (Mytho going Raven way early on in Aather history, etc). With Knife gone, he's lost one of his biggest anchors, and is trying to fill her place as unofficial "leader" of Emerald. At this point it's hard for him to put himself in the place of a new arrival because he's not only been around for so long, being a new arrival in Aather is a lot different now than it was when he arrived.

WHICH IS A LONG-WINDED INTRODUCTION TO HOW HE'S APPROACHING FERRON uh. He does like her in general so far, and thinks she's a good match for Emerald. However, her refusal to accept his overtures re: attempting to make her feel welcome did sting, especially because he doesn't usually put himself out there like that. He also thinks that unless she's willing to be more flexible -- to stop seeing things in a military context, for example -- she's going to have trouble adapting to Aather.

How would Sakura give descriptions of all of the teams (including Turquoise, because I forget what she said about them generally) like how she's done for Turq before?

Rolo really likes Sakura! (For...Rolo forms of like). She's like... as far as the members of Turq he feels personally closest to or more comfortable with, she falls just behind Breeze and Clue, and he actually might be more likely to share some of his life with her than the others (since ...he's more likely to share with people who are interested and inquire about it rather than people who don't want to dig around.

He's very interested about her. Not about her life, or her interests, but her personality and role. He's very possessive over her as well. I definitely want to thread them again soon :'D

What are Sakura's current goals?

I want reasons.

Breeze gets top rank because she's leadergirl, his best friend, and the one who has stayed around the longest and never left. Sheeee pretty much owns him and could do whatever she wants to him and he'd still consider her number one.

Torrent and Gust frequently switch out between second and third. Torrent is currently second because he's able to understand him on a very basic level once you get past the door-slamming and the line facing and the judging. And he thought the claw-arm was cool, which was awesome 'cause Clue was feeling mostly line-faced about it until he saw that reaction.

Gust is someone that Clue doesn't always really understand on a basic level, but that's okay. To Clue, he is probably the biggest "balance" for the team, someone who can have fun sometimes but knows when to be serious, and doesn't get flustered easily. He's not as much fun to troll, but it's nice to have a steady rock. Plus, sometimes he's just plain cool.

Tsunami has these moments where she's incredibly fun and cool and awesome, but she gets too serious over the silliest things.

Cyclone is fun and amusing, but he doesn't feel as close to him as the others, and is still a little irrationally upset that he got Booked, even though he's back now. :U

Echo is cute (adorable/cute, not "I'd do her" cute) and incredibly fun to troll, but again there's this feeling like he just doesn't know her as well, and he understands her even less than Gust.

Sion brought up the idea of Clue going back to his world, which was the first time Clue had put forth any thought to the matter of "what happens when I get all my memories back?" The truth is. . . he doesn't know what he wants to do right now. Obviously he can't go back to his own world, he'd just be dead there. So currently, he's considering either staying in Aather or going to Sion's world. He's not sure which he'd rather do, and if other ideas came up, he'd consider them too... But even getting one offer was honestly a surprise to him.

If Tsunami could pick up one non-canon skill on a permanent basis, which would she choose and why?
