I wouldn't use the word disdain at all. To a degree, because he does remember her and his impression of Sakura in Konoha was one of someone who was competent and useful, both things he appreciates. He still kind of expects that, when she's recovered some of her skills/memories, she'd be a valuable ally.

However, he is sort of distinctly unimpressed by her choices so far. What she did, running out like that, made her a liability, and whether or not she meant well, he sees that as not helping anything. Which can be a peeve of his in Aather, possibly more so than in canon. It annoys him, and it frustrates him because he does see himself as owing Sakura some protection because she did save Hinata's life. And while his memories/relationship with Hinata here is sort of CONFUSED, it did just become somewhat clearer with his last memory, and even before that, he knew that he was grateful for that when it happened. So. Unimpressed.

And again with her hesitancy about regaining memories. He's seen some of that before, and while he doesn't necessarily dislike the people who do it, he does dislike it as a habit or action or something. In part because, again, he sees it as a liability (are you going to under perform in games because of this?) and in part because he sees it as a sign of weakness. Which. Does not sit well with him. Because he's Neji. And he doesn't like showing weakness. And he doesn't like losing. So...

I'm going to go with unimpressed.

Are you having fun with her so far? So many comments.

Hmmm. I don't know. Most of Neji's stuff has been pretty low key, and interesting for me, but it's hard to point at a THING THAT WAS DONE, and say it was the most interesting or have it be something that was interesting to anyone else. idk, a lot of it's been internal stuff?

Like the line of reasoning that led him to show Vincent his memory of fighting Hinata was actually very interesting for me. He shared some information about his curse seal with Jaina at the same time, and he's considered telling Inara and Spitfire both DIFFERENT things about his memories. He's fairly confident that Vincent won't talk, and the others probably won't share information. So he was being strategic dividing up information that might be useful about him, so if they needed to know, they'd have that, but none of them would get the complete picture, and the better teammates would be less aware of his angrier side.

Almost none of that is actually shown. Uh.

Hmmmm. So how did Naruto make a bad impression?

Oh, god, that would screw him up so much.

Neji has a very... um... impersonal relationship with people in Aather. Even people from home. He likes some of them, he respects some of them, but the framework he's given himself for dealing with things and coping with the situation is sort of based on ninja teams, and alliances, and it works in a number of ways, but it also means he tends to keep things professional-ish emotionally on his side. There aren't a lot of exceptions. Um. Lark on Tiger's Eye, maybe? Adorable baby griffin gets around that by being cute!

Anyway, the point is that he has a system for how to deal with these people, and Hinata would carry a whole lot of family baggage, and one way or the other, would not fit in that system. Plus, there would be how to deal with HER memories. Would she remember fighting beside him and working out their differences, or would she remember him bullying her? BOTH, eventually, obvs, just like he does. But. Yeah. It would be a huge shock to him, and kind of rock how he copes with Aather.

How does Sakura see Turquoise?

Hmmmm.

Water heaters for the baths...? >.>

Okay, okay. At the moment, he'd like some trees. He actually sort of liked the FOREST part of the forest, and the sunflowers are nice or whatever, but it's like... flowers, sand, cliff, which isn't just not very diverse, most of it seems sort of flat and barren, and it doesn't appeal to him very much. The trees were almost homey.

Though, seriously, can we can a hot spring? How would that not be awesome?

Reverse?

Neji is glad to see that Sakura seems willing to smooth things over with him. He doesn't have any real illusions or expectations of being BFFs or anything, but he figures that if they're both willing to do that, he can correct for earlier stuff and have the kind of professional-ish relationship that he tends to prefer.

He might also entertain the idea of helping Sakura train a little, since she showed some interest. Obviously, she can't really learn his fighting style itself, but there are component pieces that he could modify for her, pooooossibly. At the very least, he can give her some bits and pieces that are good practice, until she gets some of her own skills back. It's hard to say. But that's a way to deal with things that's inside his comfort zone.

Reverse? XD

Questions are hard. XD

Especially when there's been all of one IC day to go with. Even a busy day.
