Significant Positive: Confessing to Sasuke (my forehead is the only thing above average...) (v01c003p15-19)

Summary:
11 year old Sakura is sitting on a park bench musing over Sasuke. She is sad, because "even if I go after him with my body, my breasts and butt are below average. The only thing above average in size is my forehead". Then she notices that Sasuke is leaning on a tree across the street and looking right at her oh my gosh. She imagines him saying something sappy to her ("You have such a charmingly large forehead. It makes me want to kiss it" "That's what it's for") then assures herself that she is not a little kid and she doesn't believe in fairy tale stuff! Then Sasuke actually says it to her!!! But then follows it by saying Naruto would probably say something dumb like that. Sasuke asks her what she thinks of Naruto, and she says he's annoying, delights in her suffering, and gets in the way of her love. Also she loves Sasuke and is desperate for his approval; she'd do anything. She leans in to kiss him, then he panics and runs away.Effects:

Don't get me wrong Sakura likes Sasuke just fine but every time she gets one of these she is like why did my life revolve around Sasuke oh my god, younger me you are an embarrassment!!!
In general this only reaffirms though that Sakura goes after what she wants pretty relentlessly, which in the specific case of Sasuke will be helpful for her right now. Although she will be a bit like :\ because it's clear in her mind that she's doing this because she wants to be Sasuke's friend... but is going to worry that it's going to come off in a 'because I love you' kind of way. Because she does want Sasuke's approval and acknowledgement! Pretty badly! She isn't going to do "anything" for it, but still. So she will be kind of waffling and figuring out how to draw that hard line between 'because friends' and 'because ridiculous feelings'. Obviously at the time this was incredibly significantly positive-- Sakura is getting exactly what she wants and what she wants is Sasuke. Also... while her memories can't spontaneously make her be in love with/have a crush on Sasuke or anything-- they definitely can give her a lingering sense of subconscious affection for him. Which she has anyway, but these memories increase that.
