Both of my characters likes Spitfire okay :B

Sakura thinks he is friendly in a low-key way, and interesting, and enjoys talking to him. Sometimes she is just like ?? because Iolite. Iolite is clearly a very odd team, and they're all odd. Yes even Neji.

Lightning found him pleasantly tolerable. He wasn't difficult to speak to and wasn't aggressive with either his opinions or his emotions and she appreciates that. She did not entirely hate the hairstyle he gave her. Would not mind continuing to speak with him in the future |D

Sakura~~~~ is adorable. She's pretty skillful and really kind of impressive. He doesn't know her very well, but everything he's seen of her speaks very well of her personally and she's been really friendly when they have talked even after Vincent. If he ever finds out she'd dating Neji, he will think it's adorable and approve whole heartedly.

Lightning is... quiet but not unpleasant to be around. Too much time spent with ninjas for it to bother him too much. He enjoyed talking to her quite a bit and really enjoyed playing with her hair. He's rather glad that she's not waiting to get her skills back too. It speaks highly of her in his mind. :3c At some point he will realize she looks familiar due to Zack memories :D;;; but right now she's just someone he enjoys talking to.

What does Sakura think of the new teams?

She only met part of Jasper -- Erika was...out...and the rest hadn't shown up yet. So she know Mitsuki (friendly!), Tsuukihiko (weird, but friendly!) and Jay (quiet, but friendly!) so... she thinks Jasper is a nice team. They remind her a bit of her quieter teammates in ways...

Heliodor... well she likes most of Heliodor. Even Fuck. She is not very fond of Tsuurume. Pretty crabby about her honestly. But. Would be willing to at least try and not make 8| face at her. BUT THE REST OF HELIODOR IS NICE PEOPLE???

As a general impression she is worried about it, because if we need two new teams, we must really be sucking at defeating the darkness.

So does spitfire do hairdressing only for quests or would he do it for fun, too?

Oh yes. Lord yes, Spitfire really enjoys working with people's hair. Using it for quests is just convenient excuses :3c "Let me cut your hair because of quest!" is a lot more ... okay to most people I think than "Let me cut your hair because it's totally fun and your hair REALLY NEEDS IT!" :x But yeah... he was questing for some pretty heavy duty supplies for it a while back, but the person he was questing with good ended before he finished the quest :x oops. I should probably see if I can pick that up with another knight sometime. :|a

And really for Spitfire, it's ... something he can do from home. Most of his skills are really personal. A-T is amazing and he wouldn't feel complete without it, but it's not a skill that's really useful for questing. He doesn't have any cooking abilities. He hasn't gained back a lot of skills that are useful to others. So a lot of his quests are... go find xxx food and give to teams, which he doesn't mind exactly because it's kind of easy, but it's really REALLY super nice to be able to do something from home for a quest... because it feels like it's more... useful, I guess. More him and not just a generic hero doing a generic quest.

But yes, he would definitely do it for fun, and if someone approached him about it, he does have the full range of salon skills so he's able to perm, dye, bleach, etc hair. He only keeps it simple because no one's asked. \o/;;;;

Tell me about how Sakura and Neji developed? (I caught a lot of their threads, but I missed a development or two right before they started dating, I think.)

It was a reasonably slow development from him training her to respecting each other to trusting each other to kind of depending on each other! They got right up to the edge of being a couple -- making out in the library and deciding to talk about ...stuff... after Turq's team meeting... and then Vincent came to that meeting and murdered Echo and everything was ruined for a good few days, sob. Especially since when Neji showed up the next morning, Sakura was... not sure if he was there on behalf of Iolite or on behalf of himself, and greeted him as such. But they rallied after that; Unicorn took Sakura for a while, and when she got back... i-it turned out Neji had been worried and had really missed her. And they decided they would try dating so long as Neji didn't actually have to be called 'boyfriend' because that's clearly childish '-'

Since then they basically cuddle and turn to makeouts about 90% of their conversations. Being in a new relationship is fun and nice '^'

If Spitfire were going to give Sakura a different haircut, what would he choose? (assuming not constrained by the current length of her hair ;D)

He would probably go with something like

Because he'd like to see her appearance match a little more of her take on everything attitude. It's still a cute look though so she could dress it up or tone it down however she wanted. He also thinks it would help match her maturity level a little more. Since he hasn't seen too much "little kid" and her hairstyle kind of reminds him of a kid's cut.

But he's mostly work with her to make sure she got exactly what she wanted. This would just be one of his suggestions. :3c

Looking back at the memories she's gotten so far, what does Tsunami think of Sakura?

It actually took her a while to be on board with "Sakura"; she only kind of recently started telling people they could call her that (though most of the time she still introduces herself as Tsunami... it's mostly cast-mates that call her Sakura). She wasn't sure she really understood any of Sakura's motivations or anything. Slowly though she started to get back memories that... well, they didn't necessarily change much about her perception of herself, but she could see Sakura making decisions that...validated decisions that Tsunami was making in aather. It seemed, from these memories, that Sakura and Tsunami at least had a pretty similar set of values. So by now, she's pretty okay with thinking of herself as Sakura-- especially the more she gets to know her castmates. Sakura knows things about these people, has a connection to them that Tsunami doesn't-- she'd like to know what that is.

Was Spitfire always Spitfire, or did he have an Aather name?

Spitfire has always been Spitfire though he's not always felt like he knew who Spitfire was. The memory that I gave him first is pretty poignant for a friend of his insisting that he was still Spitfire despite being injured and weak and that he could and should rely on the rest of his teammates to train with him. That Spitfire was someone he could almost relate to, and because of how the name was presented in the memory, he needed to keep it because he wasn't allowed to give it up in the memory.

Conversely, he didn't connect at all with the memory Kazu shared with him shortly after his arrival. His own memory was of him being incredibly weak and unable to do even the smallest tricks, and Kazu's memory was of being super impressed by Spitfire's skill.

So there was a bit of a cognizant dissonance for a while, which he's still trying to work through, but... he still feels more like the person he first remembered rather than someone a person should be awed by. In a way, it probably would have been easier if he had gotten an Aather name. As it is, he basically has to swallow everything whole when it comes to who Spitfire is.

If Sakura got placed on a different team, how do you think her development in Aather would have been different?

Hm, well, like I said to Ling I think she could have done interestingly on Ruby -- like Turq, they would have encouraged her protective, teamy nature... though likely on a team with Acedia and Wrath she would have ended up more fierce and less derpy...not that she isn't fierce now, but with Turq's influence she's a lot more willing to do dorky, goofy things. Given the right motivation, Sakura can be pretty ferocious and unforgiving, and I think Ruby would have encouraged that moreso than Turq. Also, Ruby wins waaaaay way more often than Turq; which would have been nice for Sakura because she loathes losing. She describes it as contempt, in canon, so. She fights a lot with that feeling in Aather and at least she wouldn't have to as much, on Ruby ;D

What team do you think would have been hilariously terrible for Spitfire? |D

Hm... I don't think any of them would have been terrible really. They would definitely encourage different aspects of his personality though. A team like Citrine or Turq or Emerald probably would have developed more of his shonen stupidity and make him feel less like he needs to be on guard constantly with how he reacts to things. Teams like Coral or Kunzite or Tiger's Eye probably would have pushed his team-dere much further to the front again instead of having it guarded the way he does on Iolite.

Though I guess if you're looking for normal versus wow how did that happen, Iolite has managed to produce a partially sociopathic version of Spitfire which is kind of interesting. \o/;;;;;;;;;;; I don't know if I'd say that was terribad, but it's definitely different.

I think... in a practical sense... she would choose fucking Neji, marrying Breeze and cliffing Sasuke. Not...out of any particular FEELS but like.
Okay well she has to cliff either Sasuke or Neji-- both of them are Ninja and are probably capable of dealing with that. Sasuke for sure she knows has the chakra control back to just run back up the cliff if he needs it, so that's safe. Also he's angry at himself and would probably encourage her to do that anyway. Neji is her boyfriend and she likes him so sleeping with him is good ANYWAY and if she chooses someone else for that spot he'd probably be jealous and upset. Breeze is not a ninja and would not survive so she can't be cliffed, and she's not really attracted to Breeze so much as she is super dependent on her as leader, so clearly she's for marrying. '-'

If Spitfire were given the power to run a game, what kind of game would he run?

IT WOULD BE THE MOST ADORABLE GAME EVER YOU HAVE NO IDEA. ALL THE FLUFFY BABY ANIMALS ALL OF THEM!!!!! Yeah, Spitfire's most just over death games and secret games. GO PET YOUR KITTEN AND ZEN A LITTLE. MOST ZEN TEAM WINS. It would be an awesome game, but this is why no one lets Spitfire run them.

... He would somehow con the Cat into helping him run it and slip him catnip so they could use the Cat as an excuse to give away memories to everyone. :|b

What's Sakura's favorite kinds of games?

So far she has more or less enjoyed most of the roleplay games; sometimes it's really weird! But she likes those ones because she has a clear objective -- pretend to be X -- and once given an objective she will pursue it. Also those games don't largely involve difficult choices. Also a kunoichi needs to be good at things like that...

Does Spitfire have a favorite personae?

Not a favorite exactly, but he definitely favors Firebird and Automaton. He enjoys the Cat too for an entirely different reason, but that has its ups and downs.

What does Sakura think about the Personae and their roles in Aather?

She actually only kind of understands the concept of "roles", idk she didn't get a very thorough explanation on the Personae. I don't think she knew they had roles at all until very, very recently. Nobody really explained the whole... fairy-tale thing to her either. Basically Sakura has been entirely ignorant of the [ooc plot] of Aather for quiet a while.

Which means she's had a lot of time to build up Negative Feelings about the Personae, especially because the person she talks to most often about them is Sasuke. One on one, she likes some of them, but as a whole taken together she is pretty >8| at Personae.

If Spitfire were a Personae, what would Knights patroned to him get?
