Summary:
Naruto has transformed/is doing the nine-tails cloak thing -- all that crazy black scratch artwork is supposed to evoke the fact that all of his skin has burned or flaked off, leaving that underneath. He is not conscious at the moment; just a very angry, very powerful monster. Kabuto remarks that Naruto must have wanted to save Sasuke so badly that he was willing to end up like that ('What a sad kid...'). Sakura thinks of the promises she made Naruto make about bringing Sasuke back, then rushes him, saying that it's okay, she'll save Sasuke for him, so that's enough--! Naruto attacks her and the memory ends.

>> Okay no but seriously, how much guilt can Sakura carry inside her body, because that is how much she has right now. She doesn't fully understand, because she doesn't have the context/full memories for those promises, but she is aware that she is responsible for Naruto pushing himself so hard that he apparently became a monster. She is going to spend a lot of time being sort of miserable and guilt ridden and full of shame that apparently she wasn't enough help to prevent that happening to Naruto.

The first half of this vid is stuff from the omake/filler anime eps, so only dubiously canon, but the second part is the important stuff. The important bits are that this is a up-until-now mostly ignored 14 year old girl on her first day of specialized training, and her instructor punches her in the stomach and sends her flying into a tree hard enough to break the tree in half.

Effects
>> Mostly what she's going to take away from this is that Sword was a good and perhaps perfectly natural choice of instructor, and will let this memory encourage her-- no matter how hard things get with Sword, this is apparently the sort of training she's used to, and she knows she can take it because hey! She's clearly not dead! And her other memory shows her punching stuff!
>> Probably also an increase to her general 'no I can handle pain it's ttly cool' score; her memories thus far indicate to her that she is tough and fierce and resilient, and even if she doesn't really feel like that right now she's going to at least act as though as it were true.
