Okay not that Sakura is actually aware of any of Itachi's actual problems. Just that sometimes when they talk she is like "...yup I sure am saying 95% of the words! But I will keep talking to you." And while she also has no idea just how, um, close they are, even Sakura can tell how dependent on each other Sasuke and Itachi are-- which mostly she finds kind of adorable and therefore utterly unsurprising anytime it turns out that Sasuke did #whatever to assist Emerald/Itachi.

But she has progressed beyond assuming that he (and Sasuke) are merely tolerating her, mostly because he did offer to help her and he wouldn't do that if he disliked her company. Also she appreciates it a lot, because somehow having the help of another ninja adds...ninja validity to her efforts >->a

So... He's now like... eccentric but nice guy who she finds interesting. He is a mystery wrapped in an enigma and one day she will get him to say actual things to her.

Anyway. Itachi is getting better at dealing with her. Her 16-year-old girlness is no longer baffling to him, for the most part, and he's pretty comfortable talking to her, even if he still kind of sucks at small talk. He likes her pretty well and appreciates that she cares about Sasuke, and also that she's smart and determined. He really wasn't surprised that she picked up the concepts from her ninja text quickly, considering the tree climbing memory Sasuke shared with him.

How is Sakura doing with her post-hiatus stress now?

...I'm not sure that isn't accurate, to some degree or another, except for the part where Knife isn't included.

Nnng. She's. Nng. She fussed at a bunch of people but really the only one who made her feel better was Knife, so. Basically she's just going to cope. Also now Tree has a scary memory and he's freaking out, but at least she can direct her energy there into Trying to Solve Problems, and that'll distract her nicely.

That is, she's sort of vaguely frustrated with Clue lately. Mostly due to kissing and then being high at their game and therefore not really being any help and then-- well okay he was helpful during their story but she was already fussy at him so she's taking that as a negative too.

And then she gets more frustrated because being upset at Clue is sort of pointless. Because he's Clue and it's not like he's doing anything but being himself. It's just poorly arranged with all the other drama in her life. :x

Once upon a time, Clue was very bored and ran into Acedia. So he started talking to Acedia over random nothingness. Clue mentioned he was bored, Acedia mentioned getting a hobby, and Clue mentioned none of his old standbys— beating people up, getting high, and getting laid— were actually options. And so Acedia said he could give him all three at once (via rough sex and Acedia using illusions to get Clue high). They played "Let's Make a Deal", settled on Acedia's solution for the price of an IOU (that was actually Clue's idea, he couldn't think of anything better), and then everything worked out rather nicely. So nicely, in fact, that Clue wanted to do it again. It's become a sort of pattern for him whenever he's particularly bored or frustrated about something and doesn't want to talk about it with anyone. Breeze found out when she ran into him being SPECTACULARLY high one day, and eventually got him to say what was "wrong" with him. She made him promise not to do it again with Acedia and to find a different solution (he uh, lied).

The most recent experience was actually not 100% part of that deal. Or at all, really. It was just the "getting high" part, and was because Acedia was having a spectacularly TERRIBLE few days, and didn't want to get high himself, so he just made Clue high and crawled into his brain so he could have that experience. Clue doesn't know about the brain-share part, or he would have freaked out. He technically didn't have any warning about getting high, either, but it hasn't occurred to him to be upset about that.

What is the SoTU with Tsunami in regards to Tree!feelings?

Because on the one hand she hates the idea of him getting hurt, and so it both frustrates and hurts her to know that he gets hurt so often and doesn't seem to care. The thing with letting Mikage ride on his antlers kind of throws her into fits on sputtering anger and bafflement because oh my god that is so stupid she doesn't even. She can't. And it frustrates her further because she feels like she isn't doing a good job of communicating to him why she doesn't want him to do that -- basically she's trying to explain to him why he should care about his own well-being, but the best she can do is "because otherwise it makes me sad"

But on the other hand she does really like him, and she knows the reason she gets so upset at him is because she likes him, and he does look sorry when she tells him his actions have hurt her. So she's trying to just... cope, productively. Though first she had a whine at a bunch of people. So far consensus is "be patient and keep reminding him to not be dumb". Knife specifically told her she needs to be stronger than he is, and she is like "I can do that >:)"

How frequently do you suppose you teach me to beat things up, and/or have we or are we going to try anything new now that we have all of these unlocks?

I THINK I TOLD YOU MOST THINGS LAST NIGHT? But yes, despite not having any of her team seven memories, nor any of her crush-on-Sasuke memories (besides the kiss one) Sasuke remains both very important to her and a very large (mostly unconscious) motivating factor for her. Aside from her desire to protect people she cares about, a lot of her motivation comes from wanting to be the sort of person Sasuke would find impressive, or at very least capable. He's sort of her Knight Examplar and she wants to live up to the kind of standards she imagines he has.

Like Itachi, she has managed to progress beyond assuming that he's just tolerating her, and it pleases her whenever they can just kind of...idk, talk and be quietly in one another's company.

Also getting to train near him sort of made her day. They were doing ninja stuff in the same general area ;3;

Is he still actively trying to get her to dislike him?

NOT ANYMORE. He doesn't seem the point to being just a jerk more than he already is when she doesn't remember anything right now. It feels unfair. So he's trying to keep his distance and failing a lot at it sometimes. FUNNILY ENOUGH, HE WILL BECOME MORE OF A JERK THE MORE SHE REMEMBERS, because if they start talking about memories he will get angry. Right now he's trying to keep this Sakura and the Sakura he remembers as separated people in a way to deal with her not knowing anything right now. If that makes any sense.

How is Sakura's relationship with Turquoise right now?

Noooooo she doesn't haaaate him. Like, she had to jiiiii at him a little because oh, I've had reason to be sad due to something you were involved in, but she wouldn't... actually act on anything or seriously be angry at him or anything. She's aware that it wouldn't be fair-- Tree had no idea that you shouldn't go kissing other people when you're dating, apparently, and she'd be surprised if natsume even knew/knows that Tree and Sakura are dating. Mostly it just makes her... oddly curious. Going okay, he wants to kiss me and he apparently wants to kiss you so now I want to discover what similar traits we must have.

Do Natsume and Tree actually have a kissing-appropriate type of relationship or are there just Feelings happening and both of you are bad at that?

Gosh no, though, he barely handles friendships well. In his own canon, he is struggling to learn to rely on his friends and learning what it's actually LIKE to have friends because for most of his life, he literally had no one, no family OR friends. That is sort of a thing he is dealing with Aather too! Trying to handle his feelings on friendship and just...trying to understand them. Like, he was PRETTY SURE Tsuyu HATED HIM. Or disliked him. Or was freaked out. SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE. After all, he was the one that tried to hurt Tsuyu, and you obviously don't hurt people if you're friends with them.

But then there was a kiss and all of his wires kind of went, "????????!????????!?!!!"

The last time they kissed was for a game (which he had done before for another game) so it didn't really throw him for a loop. It was just a game, that's what you do to win! The last time was just utter confusion and he is still confused about it. He wouldn't say it was BAD because after a while, he did sorta kinda return the kiss because he felt like he was weird just standing there (and he remembered doing that for games anyway) but HE JUST HAS NO IDEA WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT.

If it happened again, he STILL would have no idea what to do about it. '-' Feelings might be there but he can't even grasp at the idea of anyone having feelings for him until he somehow manages to accept friendship feelings! But with each memory he gets, it gets . . . harder. SO.

BASICALLY, YEAH, THEIR RELATIONSHIP ON HIS END WILL FOREVER BE, "wat do..."

But she likes Snake! He is clearly a Cool Soldier Guy and that is very in line with her interests right now; she is especially charmed by the idea that it's his job to go where there are soldiers that need him and help out. That is fabulous. Although the idea of being nameless makes her sad-- somehow it's like... if you keep your name that means you have somewhere to come back to, no matter what happens on the battlefield.

She would very much enjoy learning CCC from him :)

What does Snake think of her?

He thinks she's a good kid, and she's obviously normally a fighter even if her mindset's currently in a place where she's a learner rather than an active fighter. He can't decide if it's good or bad that she wants so much to be a fighter, but he approves of her motives behind it.

I mean, because Breeze and Clue are sort of the parents of the group? And Breeze would be fine but Clue would probably insist on driving. And if he wasn't driving he'd be in the back seat being-- himself. Which would probably make Tsuyu crabby. And if they were like...fuss wrestling then Echo would be full of disdain and probably ignore everyone in favor of staring out the window or drawing and Paul would be full of disdain and possibly be calling everyone losers. Rolo and Sakura might resort to different flavors of violence.

And that's before we've even reached our destination.
